After the minimum funding goal is met, Insiders of an Offering may also invest in the Offering as long as the investment is disclosed in the Offering Materials per the policy requirements below.  Who is an Insider? For the purposes of StartEngine’s policy, an “Insider” includes, but is not limited to, corporate officers and members of the board of directors, and direct family members or members of the household of any of these personnel.  Direct family members include parents, spouses, and children. If your company wants to have insiders invest, this needs to be disclosed on the Form C. This may occur differently depending on timing.  If your company has not launched, your onboarding manager and our Compliance & Legal team can help you with inserting the proper language into your Form C.  If your company has launched, and you did not previously include insider investment disclosures, your Form C will have to be amended.
